Last night, there was a robbery incident in the Links of London store near our place. My best friend was inside the jewelry store buying friendship bracelets when the incident happened. There were a lot of customers going in and out of the shop because of the Links of London bracelets sale. There wasn’t any suspicious-looking person inside and the place looked safe so everybody thought that there was nothing to worry about. One guard, who ran after the thieves, was shot on his leg. The investigation and the search for the three robbers is still ongoing. As my friend was telling the story, I could see the fear in her eyes. I’m glad she is safe. I hope justice will be served and that such crime will not happen in our town again.
