Arson is suspected after a fire left three people homeless in downtown Ottawa Tuesday evening, according to Ottawa Fire Services. Firefighters say the blaze started on the top floor at the nfl headset back of the two-and-a-half storey house. Police notified firefighters around 9:45 p.m. Tuesday about the fire at 119 Hawthorne Avenue, just off Main Street. While the fire was still ablaze, OC Transpo buses were brought in to keep the occupants warm. Paramedics also said they transported a man, 59, and woman, 36, to hospital for smoke inhalation.
