9 January 2012 Last updated at 07:34 GMT Blacks Leisure: JD Sports in advanced talks over deal JD Sports has confirmed that it is in "advanced discussions" with struggling outdoor clothing retailer Blacks Leisure about buying its assets. A deal is expected to be completed via a pre-pack arrangement, under which Blacks will briefly go into administration Authentic nfl jerseys before being bought. On Friday, it was reported that JD had offered about £20m for Blacks. Blacks Leisure has 98 Blacks outlets and 208 Millets stores. It also owns the Peter Storm and Eurohike brands. Any sale is expected to require the closure of, or job losses at, Blacks' head office and warehouse in Northampton. JD Sports said in a statement: "JD notes the recent press speculation in relation to a potential offer for the assets of Blacks Leisure Group plc NFL shop jerseys and the recent announcement made by Blacks, and confirms that it is in advanced discussions with Blacks in relation to an offer for certain of its assets. "A further announcement will be made on conclusion of those discussions." Blacks said on Friday that three partners from KPMG would be appointed administrators, but the appointments were "only likely to take effect just before the completion of any such sale kids nfl jerseys [of the group's trade, assets and brands]".
